Customer retention
Keep your regulars
coming back.
When a regular hasn’t been in for a while, NextStamp puts a gift on their card. Double stamps bring people in during your quiet hours, and a thank-you can go to everyone on the card at once. You set each one up once, and it runs at all your outlets.

When a regular goes quiet
Most regulars don’t decide to stop coming. They get busy and the habit slips. Every morning NextStamp checks who hasn’t been in for a while, and puts a gift on their card before they’ve settled somewhere else.
- 1
Tuesday afternoons count double
Double stamps run on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons, so each Tuesday visit earns two stamps.
- 2
Then 14 days without a visit
Nothing after the 11th. Nobody at the counter is likely to notice, and with several outlets it’s even easier to miss.
- 3
Day 14: a free coffee lands on their card
For a café, “We miss you” waits 14 days, until a regular starts slipping away. That morning at 09:00 the gift arrives with your note, and a card in their wallet shows an alert.
- 4
Two days later, they’re back
They use the gift at the till and the stamps start again. If they stay away again later, the next absence earns another gift.
Three campaigns, each set up once
They live in Campaigns. Each one starts filled in for your trade, with a preview of exactly what customers will see.
We miss you
A gift when someone stops coming
Choose how many days away counts and what to give. Each morning the gift goes to anyone who has just reached that many days, once per absence. A visit to any of your outlets counts, so a regular who now drops in at a different one hasn’t gone anywhere.
One-off gift
A thank-you, to everyone or to a group
Give a reward or bonus stamps to everyone with the card, to people away for a number of days, or to people new to the card. Send it now or pick a time.
Double stamps
More stamps when it’s quiet
Pick the days and the hours, double or triple. The till adds the bonus by itself, and customers see it on their card, when they scan and on their wallet pass.
One campaign, every outlet
Comvos Café has more than five outlets. A campaign belongs to the card, so it’s set up once and works at every outlet where that card does.
Every till knows what’s on
When double stamps start, the banner shows on the till at each outlet, and the bonus is added there by itself.
A visit anywhere counts
Someone who used to come to one outlet and now comes to another hasn’t lapsed, so they don’t get a gift they don’t need.
Managers see their own outlets
In Insights, a manager sees the outlets they’re assigned to. Owners and admins see every outlet side by side.
See who came back
Each campaign shows how many gifts went out, how many were used and how many wallet alerts it sent. Insights shows the wider picture, with your customers grouped by visit rhythm, from regulars to those slipping away or gone quiet. When it spots something, it suggests a campaign you can start in one tap.

Comvos Café, Amaliada
“With more than five cafés, I can’t be at every till. Now a campaign is set up once and it runs everywhere: double stamps show at every till at the same moment, and a regular who hasn’t been in for a while finds a gift waiting on their card. It all runs smoothly, and to our customers it looks professional.”
Comvos Café has more than five outlets, so every campaign has to work at all of them at once.
Filled in for your trade
A new campaign starts with numbers that suit your trade. These are the drafts as NextStamp fills them in, and you can change any of them before you switch one on.

Questions about bringing customers back
Do customers get emails or texts?
No. Gifts land on their card in NextStamp with your note, and promotions show on their card, when they scan and at your till. If they’ve added the card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, they also get a wallet alert.
How does NextStamp know someone has stopped coming?
It looks at each customer’s last visit to any of your outlets. Every morning at 09:00, in your time zone, “We miss you” finds the people who have just passed the number of days you chose.
Can someone get “We miss you” more than once?
Once per absence. If they come back and later stay away again for as long, they get another gift.
How many alerts will my customers get?
At most one campaign alert per card a day, and only for cards in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. Google Wallet also allows no more than three alerts a day for each pass.
Do double stamps get around my stamp limits?
No. The bonus is added at the till within the room left on the card and its limits per visit and per day.
Do campaigns work at all my outlets?
Yes, wherever the card works, and a gift can be used at any of those outlets.
Who on my team can set up campaigns?
Owners and admins. Staff see what’s on at the till, and managers see Insights for the outlets they’re assigned to.
How do I know if a campaign worked?
Each campaign shows what went out, what was used and how many wallet alerts it sent. Insights shows how many customers are regulars, slipping away or gone quiet, and how many visits come from people coming back.
