How digital stamp cards work

A quick scan or tap.
A little thank-you.

Customers scan your poster or tap your tag at the counter, and your team approves the stamp with one tap. It lands on the card in their phone, and the reward brings them back. No app to download. No paper card to lose.

A customer’s stamp request on their phone, and the same request on your till, waiting for one tap.

The whole idea

From first visit
to regular, in four steps.

  1. Step 1

    Scan or tap

Customers scan your QR poster or tap your NFC tag with their phone to ask for a stamp. Their card opens in the browser, so there’s no app to download.

  2. Step 2

    Your team approves

The request pops up on your till with a chime and your team approves it with one tap. Or they scan the card on the customer’s phone.

  3. Step 3

    Keep it close

The card lives on their phone, in their NextStamp account, with every stamp and reward. Nothing to carry, nothing to lose.

  4. Step 4

    Come back for more

When the card is full, the reward is waiting. Your team uses it at the till, and they start collecting again.

Then, the everyday part

Three ways to give a stamp.
Pick what suits your counter.

Use one, or all three at once. However a customer asks, your team approves every stamp, and the limits you set always apply.

  • Your till poster

    They scan. You approve.

Your poster sits by the till. The customer points their phone camera at it, and a stamp request pops up on your till with a chime. Your team checks it and taps Approve.

Busy moment? A request waits in a list for 10 minutes, so there’s time to finish serving first.

Good for counters where someone is always at the till.

  • Your tap tag

    They tap. You approve.

A small NFC tag on your counter. Customers hold their phone to it, with no camera to open, and their stamp request pops up on your till with a chime. Your team taps Approve.

Any NFC sticker with your till poster’s link works. A secure tag goes further: it signs every tap, so its requests always start at your counter, and you can let only secure tags ask for stamps.

Good for busy counters, and customers who’d rather not open their camera.

  • Your till

    You scan their card.

Every card has its own code. Scan it with the till’s camera, or with a handheld scanner that reads QR codes: just scan, with nothing to click first. You can type the code too.

Then give one stamp or a few, or use a reward, all from the same screen.

Good for customers who’d rather show their phone, and tills that already have a scanner.

Example card
The Daily Grind

A little thank-you for coming back.

Your fifth stamp earns

A coffee on us

35

2 more stamps until your reward.

Give it a go. This example won’t change a real card.

Give it a little try

Small stamp.
Happy comeback.

Choose a coffee shop, bakery or salon, then add a couple of stamps. Watch the card fill up and the reward become ready.

This is an example card. In your business, your team gives every stamp: they approve a request from your poster or tag, or scan the customer’s card.

And when it’s full?

The reward appears on the customer’s card, ready to use. Your team redeems it at the till, and the next card follows your programme’s rules.

For your customers

Their next visit
starts in their pocket.

No app to install, no card to forget at home. Customers find their cards and gifts in their NextStamp account, right in the browser, on any phone.

  • Always clear where they stand

Their stamps, the reward and your card’s rules are right there, so nobody has to ask how many more they need.

  • A little reason to return

Send a one-off gift, welcome back someone who’s been away, or offer double stamps in quieter hours. It all lands on their card.

  • Apple Wallet and Google Wallet

Customers can add their card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet from its screen. The pass updates itself after every stamp, and your team scans it at the till like the card.

Meet your campaigns
Their card in My cards, and its wallet pass on the morning the reward is ready.

Campaigns

Gifts and offers land
on the same card.

There are four kinds, each set up once in Campaigns. Customers see them on their card, when they scan and in their wallet, and none of them needs an email or a text.

  • We miss you

A treat for customers who are late for their usual visit. Once per absence.

  • One-off gift

A reward, bonus stamps or just a message, for everyone or a group, now or on a date.

  • Double stamps

Extra stamps on quiet days or hours, added at the till by itself.

  • Deal

A combo, a new item or a price that customers see on their card and at the till while it runs.

For your team

Easy at the counter.
Even at the busiest hour.

One till screen does it all. Requests, card scans and rewards open the same customer card, so there’s one thing to learn.

A chime, then one tap

Requests from your poster and your tag open on the till by themselves. Approve, and get back to serving.

Works on what you have

A phone, a tablet or the computer at the till. Nothing to install.

Easy to put right

The latest stamps at your till are listed under Just now, so a slip can be undone straight away.

Everyone in their place

Invite your team as admins, managers or staff, and choose the outlets each person works at.

Generous to customers. Fair to you.

A stamp card only works when every stamp is real. NextStamp keeps it that way without slowing anyone down at the counter.

Scanning or tapping only asks

A photo of your poster or a copy of your tag’s link can’t hand out stamps. Every stamp is approved by your team at the till.

Your limits, everywhere

Choose how many stamps a card can get per visit and per day. Every till, every tag and everyone on your team follows them.

Every stamp on the record

Every stamp from the till is kept with the time, the outlet and the team member who gave it.

Getting started

Your card.
Your counter.
Your kind of reward.

You know what your customers love. Build your card around it, then put it right where they pay.

  1. 1

Make a card that feels like yours.

Choose your colours and stamp style, set the number of stamps, and decide what customers receive. Add a welcome treat or a reward along the way if you’d like.

  2. 2

    Put it where they pay.

Add your outlet and print its till poster. Want customers to tap as well? Buy an NFC tag and set it up from your card, step by step. Then invite your team.

  3. 3

    Open the till. You’re ready.

Your team signs in on a phone, tablet or computer. Got a handheld scanner? Plug it in or pair it, and start scanning.

Make the next visit
a little more rewarding.

Start with your card and a thank-you that feels right for your business.
