For restaurants and takeaways
A restaurant punch card for the regulars you know by name
A restaurant punch card rewards the guests who already feel at home, like the weekday lunch crowd or the family that always asks for the corner table. With NextStamp the card lives on the guest’s phone. They scan the QR code on the table or at the till, your staff approve the visit, and the free dessert is waiting on the card when it fills.
Guests don’t download an app, and you don’t hand a paper card over with the bill.

Where the codes go in a restaurant
On the tables
The window poster works on a table stand too. Guests join while they wait for food, so they already have a card when the bill arrives.
Where people pay
The till poster sits at the pay point. Scanning it sends the stamp request, which staff approve with one tap before the guest leaves.
At the takeaway counter
Collection orders count the same way: the guest scans at the counter while the bag is packed.
Or scan their card
When a guest already has their phone out, staff can scan the code on their card and add the stamp directly.
Punch card rules that work for restaurants
Count visits, not dishes
One stamp per visit keeps it simple, and it’s how new cards start. For big orders, raise the stamps per visit so staff can add a few at once.
Something from the kitchen
A dessert or a main costs far less to make than its menu price, and it brings the guest back to order around it.
Rewards that don’t sit forever
Set rewards to expire one, three or six months after they’re earned, which gives guests a gentle reason to come back soon.
A card for lunch, another for dinner
Run more than one card if your lunch and evening regulars are different crowds, each with its own rules.
Double stamps for the gap between lunch and dinner
Most restaurants have hours when the kitchen is ready and the room is empty, and double stamps are made for them. Choose the days and the hours, and every stamp given in that window earns a bonus stamp by itself. Guests see the offer on their card and on the scan screen, so you don’t need to print a single flyer. After a few weeks, compare those hours in Insights with the weeks before to see whether it’s bringing people in.
For guests who used to come every week and have gone quiet, a “we miss you” campaign puts a gift on their card after the gap you choose.

Questions, answered
Can a whole table collect stamps on one visit?
Each guest collects on their own card by scanning the poster. If you’d rather reward whoever pays, raise the card’s stamps per visit so staff can add several to that one card.
Does it work for takeaway?
Yes, for orders collected at the counter, where the guest scans while the order is packed. Delivery apps aren’t connected, because your team gives stamps in person at the till.
Does it work with our till or booking system?
It runs alongside them. Staff take payment and bookings as usual and approve stamps on the NextStamp till, which works in the browser on any device.
What is a good restaurant loyalty reward?
Something from your kitchen, such as a dessert or a main after a set number of visits. It comes across as generous and brings guests back to order around it.
How do I get guests to join?
Put the window poster on the tables, add a welcome stamp or reward, and have staff mention the card when they bring the bill.
Give them a little something
to come back for.
Make a card that feels like your business and put the poster up by the till.
