Manage or delete your account

Change your name or password, choose which businesses may email you offers, sign out, or delete your account.

For customers · Updated

Your NextStamp account is yours to manage. From the Account tab you can change your name and password, choose which businesses may email you offers, sign out, or delete the account completely.

Open your account

Sign in at nextstamp.app and tap Account in the tab bar at the bottom. At the top, under You, are your name and email.

Change your name

Tap Change your name, edit it and save. Businesses whose card asked for your name see the new one. Businesses whose card never asked for it still won’t see it.

Change your password

Tap Change your password, enter your Current password and a New password of 12 to 128 characters, and save. Any other phone or computer signed in to your account is signed out.

If you signed up with Google, you’ll see “You sign in with Google” instead: your account has no NextStamp password, and you keep signing in with Google.

NextStamp can’t email you a reset link yet. If you forget your password, email support@nextstamp.app from the address on your account.

Choose who can email you offers

Offers by email lists every business whose card you hold, each with its own switch and the words: the business “may email you offers. Your card works either way, and you can turn this off at any time.” Switch any of them on or off whenever you like.

Nobody emails you offers unless you switch them on, and your cards work the same either way. NextStamp itself doesn’t send you marketing emails or texts. If a card didn’t ask for your email, its switch says it has no address to write to.

Businesses you work at

If you work at a business on NextStamp, it’s listed under Businesses with your role. Tap it to open the business app. If you run a business, Run a business? Set it up on NextStamp starts one.

Sign out

Tap Sign out to sign out of this device. Do this on a phone or computer you share.

Delete your account

Tap Delete account at the bottom. The page explains exactly what happens:

  • you’re signed out everywhere and can’t sign in to the account again
  • every card you hold is deleted, with its stamps, rewards and history
  • your name, email and everything else each business you joined holds about you are deleted
  • you’re taken off any team you work on

Businesses keep only totals that don’t say who you are, such as how many stamps they gave in a week. To confirm, enter your password and tick that you understand the account and cards can’t be brought back, then tap Delete my account. If you sign in with Google, you may be asked to sign in with Google again first.

If you own a business on NextStamp, delete it first; the page links to it. See delete your account or your business.

Your data

NextStamp keeps what’s needed to run your cards: your name, email, cards and their history, and the choices you’ve made about offers and wallet alerts. For a copy of what’s held about you, or any other question about your data, email support@nextstamp.app from the address on your account.
