Invite your team

Everyone who works your till should have their own NextStamp account. You invite them with a link that works once, for one email address, and they join with the role and outlets you chose. Only owners and admins can invite people.

Create an invitation

1. Go to Settings and, under Business, tap Team.
2. Tap Invite someone.
3. Enter Their email, for example sam@example.com.
4. Choose a Role: staff (the default), manager, or admin if you’re the owner. See roles: owner, admin, manager and staff.
5. Under Outlets, tick where they work. They see and answer only those outlets’ customers. With one outlet, it’s ticked for you. With several, none is ticked until you choose, and All outlets, and any you open later is there as a deliberate choice. Admins always work at every outlet, so they don’t need this.
6. Tap Create invitation link.

Send the link

NextStamp shows the link once: “Send this link to” their email, “You won’t see it again.” Tap Share link to send it through your phone’s messages or email, or Copy link to paste it anywhere.

The link works once, for 7 days, and only for the email address you entered.

What your colleague does

When they open the link, they see “Join” with your business’s name, and the role and email it’s for.

• New to NextStamp: they tap Create an account (or Continue with Google), sign up with that email, and join.
• Already have an account: they tap I already have an account, sign in, then tap Join and your business’s name.
• Signed in as someone else: the page asks them to sign in with the invited email.

Staff land on the Give stamps tab; everyone else lands on the Overview. They can install the business app on their phone from Settings → NextStamp app; see add the business app to your home screen.

If the link doesn’t work

The invitation page says why:

• “This invitation has already been used.”
• “…was cancelled. Ask for a new one.”
• “…has expired. Ask for a new one.”
• “This link doesn’t work”, when it was copied incompletely.

Lost a link? Invite the same address again for a fresh link; the old one stops working.

Open invitations

Invitations not yet used are listed under Open invitations on the Team screen. Revoke cancels one straight away. A business can have up to 20 open invitations at once.

After they join

They appear under Members with their role, outlets and extra permissions. To change any of these or remove someone, see change a role or remove someone.
