Stamp methods
Learn the different ways you can distribute stamps to your customers.
- Three ways to give a stampScan the customer’s card, approve a request from the till poster, or approve a tap on an NFC tag: when to use each.
- Using the tillThe till screen from top to bottom: choosing the outlet, the camera, the customer sheet, Waiting, Just now and Undo.
- Scan a customer’s card or type its codeOpen a customer’s card at the till with the camera, by typing the twelve-character code, or with a handheld barcode scanner.
- Stamp requests from the till posterA customer scans the till poster, the request chimes on your till, and your team matches the code and approves it or says no.
- Set up an NFC tap tagPut any NFC sticker, or a secure NTAG 424 DNA tag, at the counter so customers tap to ask the till for a stamp.
- Give a customer their rewardUse a customer’s reward at the till, whether they ask from the till poster or you scan their card, and what can stop one.
- Choose what a first scan doesDecide whether a new customer’s first scan of the till poster also asks for a stamp, or only joins them to the card.
- Fix common till problemsThe camera won’t start, requests don’t arrive, there’s no chime, or a stamp is refused: what each message means and what to do.
